31.07.03. - Delegation of Public Corporation "Gazprom" to Bashkortostan
On July 31 a delegation of Public Corporation “Gazprom” headed by vice-deputy of “Gazprom” A.N.Ryazanov, arrived in Ufa. Members of the delegation were - vide-head of Gas Concern’s Regional Department G.V.Koshel, head of Department of Processing of Gas and Liquid Hydrocarbons S.Z.Alexeev, director general of "Orenburggazprom Ltd." C.I.Ivanov. The President of Bashkortostan Republic M.G.Rakhimov and other officials met with the delegation in the city airport of Ufa. - The delegation of PC "Gazprom" arrived to spur the fulfillment of Cooperation Agreement between Bashkortostan Republic and Public Corporation "Gazprom", which had been signed on July 19 this year in Moscow by the president of Bashkortostan M.G.Rakhimov the chairman of Public Corporation "Gazprom" A.B.Miller. “We shall also discuss further development plans of Public Corporation “Salavatnefteorgsintez” and other processing plants of the republic”, - said A.N.Ryazanov during the meeting. On that day a working conference with the president M.G.Rakhimov, the delegation of Public Corporation “Gazprom” headed by A.N.Ryazanov and other heads of processing industry of the republic took place.
25.07.03. - Murtaza Rackhimov: gas equipment workers helped the economical upturn
The achievements of “Ufagas”, branch office of the “Gas-Service” joint-stock company are inseparably linked with the general achievements of the republic, said on the meeting in honor of the staff of the factory at its anniversary the President of the republic Murtaza Rackhimov. According to his announcement the anniversary is celebrated under positive social development conditions in Bashkortostan, which is celebrated for the fifth year already. For the past half-year the industrial output in Bashkortostan is up by 9,3% in comparison with January-June of the last year. The development is provided by power industry, fuel industry, ferrous metallurgy, machine-building and metal-working, light, food, flour-and-cereals, mixed fodder, medical and polygraphic industries. Gas equipment workers anted their portion to the economic growth. “Ufagas” constantly supplies more than 660 industrial plants and community facilities, 327 000 apartments with gas. During the last few years, the work of the company was economically effective and stable - thus allowing the improvement of the material and technical basis, almost completed the gasification in Ufa and surrounding region, made the big volume of work in Aurgazinsky and Baymaksky region. For some time there is a production activity conducted at the plant. At the newly build up “Ufapromgas” complex the production of the water and gas pipes, cathodic protection stations and spare parts for the gas equipment started. The possibility of galvanized pipes manufacturing is examined. With the help of the republic government is formed a Bashkir- Czech joint-stock company “Thermo-Service” based on the production complex, which is specializing on the gas-stoves and boilers manufacturing. The president noted the exceptional significance of connection between the practical work and scientific achievements. The projects utilizing resource-saving technologies are successfully applied in industry. The scientists of the State technical university of Ufa helped the “Ufagas” to organize the diagnosing of the long-life gas pipelines. Moreover, their unique experiences are used in neighboring regions, - all your experience, said Murtaza Rackhimov - once more proved the necessity of the complex solution for the manufacturing, scientific and technical, personnel, material and technical, social and health-improving issues. The result is present - the reliable natural gas supply for the multimillion capital.
22.07.03. - The trade and economic mission of the Bashkortostan republic will arrive to Yekaterinburg
Ministry of Industry of the Sverdlovsk region and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ural organized trade and economic mission to Yekaterinburg,consisting of the Bashkortostan republic enterprises and organizations representatives. Ural businesspersons are welcome to participate in business negotiations with Bashkir enterprises and organizations, which are interested in purchasing the products produced in the Sverdlovsk region and promoting their own output to the Sverdlovsk region market. There will be representatives of the different enterprises of Bashkortostan, including mining and smelting, machine-building, agricultural, construction, chemical, woodworking, light, trade, tourism and other branches of industry. Participation in business negotiations is aimed at the establishment of the direct trade, economic and scientific, technical relationship with the enterprises and organizations of Bashkortostan, searching the ways of knowledge interchange with the Bashkortostan colleagues, getting the information on market conditions in Bashkortostan and making of mutually beneficial contracts. 15.07.03. - “BashNIPIneft” is liquidated, on its basis the engineering company is created
“BASHNIPINEFT” IS LIQUIDATED, ON ITS BASIS THE ENGINEERING COMPANY IS CREATED
The associated company of stock oil company “Bashneft”, limited liability company “BashNIPIneft” is liquidated. This decision was made in the context of continuing reorganization of SOK “Bashneft”. On the laboratory and experimental facilities of now non-existent enterprise was the new limited liability company “Engineering Company “BashNIPIneft” created. It consolidated the staff of production and technical departments of former SOK, scientific and engineering staff of “BashNIPIneft” and “Bashnefteprojekt”, sectional computer center of the company. The reference line of activities - design, technical and economic estimation of oil and gas exploration work, scientific research and experimental-design, comprehensive engineering surveys, investment projects development, carrying out the marketing, engineering, scientific and technical, socio-economic research. “EC “BashNIPIneft” also conduct patenting and licensing, ecological monitoring, comprehensive laboratory research.
12.07.03. - Murtaza Rakhimov visited Closed Joint Stock Company "Kaustik" in the city of Sterlitamak
Murtaza Rakhimov, the President of Bashkortostan Republic, paid a visit to Closed Joint Stock Company "Kaustik", Sterlitamak city. The Head of the republic has got acquainted with the course of reconstruction of cable plasticates production. According to the company, within the last decade under direct support of the President and Government of the Republic there has been realized a large-scale program of technical reequipment at CJSC "Kaustic", which included the construction of the complex for vinylchloride produce with output of 135 thousand tons per year, production increase of polyvinylchloride from 45 up to 120 tons per year, and as well polyvinylchloride processing into profile units. All of the projects were run under the President personally, being always present at their launch. At present the reconstruction of cable plasticates production is held at CJSC "Kaustik". It is also planned to purchase three modern production lines from German company "ERMAFA". They will enable to increase the production capacity of cable plasticates up to 40 tons per year. The cooperation with this company has started in 1988. During this period the company showed itself a safe partner. That time CJSC "Kaustik" purchased a calendering line from "ERMAFA" which opened PVC film production for various purposes, namely for hotbeds and greenhouses, for general purpose (of ON make), of NL make, for windows manufacture, for life-boats for MEA which are produced at "Ufa Rubber & Technical Articles Plant". It is projected to invest 4 million 630 thousand 960 Euro in the reconstruction of cable plasticates production. For this purpose a credit from abroad has been drawn. The first part of credit budgets in the amount of 2 million 193 thousand 960 Euro (76 million 157 thousand 617 rubles) has been received in June. Till the end of the year there is to be invested 24 million rubles more.
09.07.03. - The Ministry of Industry of Bashkortostan talks over the proposals from Ural Mining Metallurgy Company

Today, at 3 p.m., in the Ministry of Industry of Bashkortostan there is to take place a meeting, the subject of which is to be the development of mineral and raw materials base of the republic. The Minister of Industry of BR, Sergey Efremov, the representatives of Ural Mining and Metallurgy Company, the leaders of other Ministries and mining complexes of the Bashkortosran are going to be the major personalities at the meeting. The managers of the above-mentioned Ural Mining and Metallurgy Company have presented a number of commercial offers for Bashkortostan government to consider. As "Bashinform" agency was informed in press-cutting service of the Ministry of Industry, at present the top issue is to work up a conception of the development of non-ferrous and noble metals extraction and production. The main point of the proposals leads to the matter of investments attraction for enterprises engaged in non-ferrous metallurgy of Bashkiria trans-Ural area. As it is well known, at present there exist two centers of non-ferrous metallurgy in Russia, namely: Ural and Norilsk. The richest deposits of non-ferrous metal ores are concentrated in Sverdlovskiy, Chelyabenskiy areas and in Bashkortostan as well. Sulfur copper ores constitute the base of non-ferrous metallurgy raw materials. The pioneer deposits of these raw materials were discovered at the beginning of the last century, but the major ones were discovered as late as in 30th. First of all, it goes about the deposits of Uchalinskiy area, and as well about Podolskiy ore block, located on the territory of Khaybullinskiy area. Major resources of copper and copper-zinc ores are deposited in depths, therefore minerals are extracted by means of underground mining. Other direction of non-ferrous metallurgy is gold mining. In Bashkortostan from the moment of this field rise there were developed more than 400 deposits of placer and original gold, and there were extracted about 100 tons of noble metal out of raw materials. Bashkiria non-ferrous metallurgy is mainly presented by three majors: Uchalinskiy mining combine, Buribaevskiy one, and Bashkiria cooper-sulfur combine. Buribaevskiy and Sibay processing combines are lack of raw materials. The major enterprise in this field is Uchalinskiy mining combine, its share makes 70 percent. So, the meeting in the Ministry of Industry of Bashkortostan for today signifies the start of reciprocal cooperation.
