29.09.03 - The Leading Agroindustrial Enterprises of Bashkiria Will Take Part in the Exhibition "Zolotaja Osen"
More than 70 leading enterprises of Bashkir Agroindustrial Complex will take part in the Fifth Russian Agroindustrial Exhibition "Zolotaja Osen", which will be held on October 10-14 in All-Russian Exhibition Centre. On the main forum of home agroindustrial complex Bashkortostan will perform 13 enterprises of milk industry, five of meat, four of food, two of agricultural machine-building, four enterprises of the system "Bashpticeprom", seven producers of alcohol and wine-vodka production, four subjects of Agroindustrial Complex of the system GUP "Bashkirskie Melnitsy" and also 24 leading republican agricultural enterprises, four peasant farm economies, OJC "Ufahimprom", Gostehnadzor RB, Bashkir Sientific-Research Institute of Apiculture and Apitherapy, and "Bashvodmelioratsia". It should be mentioned that the exposition of Bashkortostan enterprises will take about 100 square metres of exhibition area. Our stand will be placed on the "red line". By the way, agricultural machine-building enterprises will place their production in front of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre on its territory. Our agricultural producers plan to organize products’ trade in front of the pavilion on the square.
29.09.03 - Buses "NefAZ" Have Success on Russian Market
Bashkortostan has had one more visit card. Now the talks about the republic will be held every time when the buses of Neftekamskij Machine-Plant are seen. They were able to find a niche on Russian machine market in short period of time. Nowadays they are bought for renovation of many Russian subjects’ machine parks. As information agencies report, by the end of this year twenty 48-place buses of Bashkortostan machine-builders will appear in intertown trips of Kemerovo Region. There they are delivered due to this year signed commitment about commerce-economical, scientific-technical, social and cultural collaboration between Tatarstan Parliament and Kemerovo Region Administration. For these purposes 18.5mln rubbles are allotted from regional budget. The same amount of the same new Neftekam buses neighbour republic will dispatch to Kuzbass. This also will be done due to the development of the regional connections. And Leningrad Region has bought 95 "NefAZes" by leasing on three-year hire-purchase system. These buses will transfer the passengers in municipal trips. In Sahalin Region three passenger busses were bought by means of money, endowed by Regional Social Fund "Sahalin-XXI Vek". These machines are given to the regional Fund of Property, which is to buy 12 more same machines. In general facts say, Jointstock Company "NefAZ" has found a niche on Russian bus market. Next year it intends to enrich the manufacture of buses in two times and produce about 1.2 thousand machines. The orders on the buses are assigned for three months ahead, and now the enterprise is seeking for possibility to increase the volume of output. It should be mentioned that "NefAZ" is one of the first Russian machine-builders according to the volume of commercial growth of buses due to the sums of the last seven months of this year. The index of the plant was 127.9 per cent in proportion to the same last year period.
23.09.03. - UralStroy-2003 International Exhibition Started
Today the XIII International Exhibition "UralStroy-2003" has started in Ufa. In the exhibition representatives of over 200 companies and enterprises have been participating, amongst them are constructing, architecture, building materials companies, machine building enterprises and other companies of different fields of economy involved in town-planning and industrial construction. The First Deputy of Minister of construction, architecture and transport of Bashkortostan Rinat Sagitov, has emphasized the exhibition importance. Today construction field of the country is a leader in increasing industrial growth and updating technical equipments and facilities of enterprises. Bashkortostan construction industry matters much with it. Bashkir construction workers have been ranking the seventh among other Russian regions in the work-done capacity, and ranking the fifth at putting houses into function. House construction has been paid particular attention to. The exhibition has been embracing various themes. Everything needed for modern high quality houses construction has been exhibited here. Majority of the articles displayed meet construction industry main requirements - energy saving, efficiency and capability of reforming. According to the organizers of the exhibition, a slight change in participants’ structure has been outlined: now dealers are giving up their places to producers. "UralStroy-2003" is not just a show of the manufacturing and scientific achievements. At the event there will be held exchange with information, experience and searching for decisions of the exhibitors’ common problems. For that, today Bashkortostan Ministry of Housing has organized Scientific conference, at which problem of today’s experience in housing management is to be discussed. The second day of the exhibition is also planned to be informative and busy. There will be held a conference "Porous concrete as an effective material for erecting walls and insulating heat in modern construction technologies", presentation of dry building blends made by "Soda" plant and ceramic tile made by "ItalBashKeramika", seminar on "Polymer materials for design and construction" etc. On September 25 there have been planned outgoing conference "Monolith house building in Bashkortostan - experience and perspectives", seminars on modern technologies in insulation and fiberglass wallpapers. Ceremony of winner nomination in the best samples, technologies and equipments competition will take place the same day. There will be nine nominations in the competition: "Town-planning and architecture", "Building and decorative materials", "Energy saving technologies, materials and equipments", "Construction technologies, machines and equipments", "Conditioning, ventilation and sanitary engineering equipments", "Electrotechnical equipments and cables" "Documentation in construction", "The best booth presentation", "Mass Media and constructions popularization".
22.09.03. - Managers Of The Largest Bashkir Companies Included Into Russia’s Top-1000
Professionalism of companies’ and enterprises’ top managers results in successful operation of their companies. Managers Association and "Kommersant" publishing house have studied professional skills and reputation of managers of the largest Russian companies and published the fourth list of ranking "Russian top1000 professional managers". In Top-1000 14 directors of Bashkir enterprises have been listed. The largest number of the successful managers have been working in chemical industry, they are as follows: Viktor Gantsev ("Bashneftehim"), Anas Abdullin ("Kauchuk"), Nikolay Loktionov ("Kaustik"), Fanil Mazitov ("Ufaorgsintez"), Viacheslav Titov ("Soda"). Three general managers represent Bashkortostan metallurgical complex, they are: Ilia Abdrahmanov (Uchalinsk ore mining enterprise), Viktor Ziuzin (Beloretsk metallurgical works) and Rinat Bikbov (Buribaievskiy ore mining enterprise). Directors of the following Bashkir enterprises have also been nominated as The Best Russian Managers: Azat Kurmanaiev ("Uralsib"), Valeriy Lesunov ("UMPO"), Salavat Gaisin (Bashinformsviaz"), Nikolai Kurapov ("Bashkirenergo"), Halit Bikmuhamedov ("Vostokneftezavodmontazh"), Ildar Iskhakov ("Bashneft").
20.09.03. - Bashkortostan Succeeding In International Contacts
Conditions and perspectives of Bashkortostan international cooperation have been discussed at the regular conference held today at Ministry of Foreign Economical Affairs and Trade collegium. At the conference there has been mentioned that the republic has established a considerable number of treaties with foreign countries. Bashkortostan has been keeping broad contacts with 90 countries in the world - Austria, Italy, China, Turkey, Germany, and with CIS and Eastern European countries in particular. Various forms of mutual cooperation have been actively performed: exchanging with official and working delegations, conducting bilateral meetings, establishing of representative offices in the territories of the parties, promoting "Days of Bashkortostan" campaigns in the other countries and in the foreign embassies in Moscow. Bashkortostan representatives usually participate at the Regular Summit of TURKSOY, keep contacts with UNIDO, UNESCO and so on. At present, long-term intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements between Bashkortostan and Belarus, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and many other countries have been concluded. A great work has been done in improvement of legislative norms for international contacts. Thus, in order to improve interaction with Russian federal authorities while establishing international and foreign economical contacts by the republic, there has been developed and now being approved a draft Statement concluded between Bashkortostan and Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Statement has specified interaction in international and foreign economical contacts for 2003-2005. Draft agreements are being prepared between Bashkortostan authorities and Tashkent Hokimiyat (city administration), Ukrainian government, Turkish Ministry of Industry and Trade. In order to coordinate work of the state authorities organs on organization of visits of Bashkortostan official persons and official delegations to foreign countries and receiving international official persons and delegations in the republic in August this year, Bashkortostan President has signed appropriate Decree. A draft of the similar document is being prepared for arrangement of middle level visits and receptions. After discussing outlined questions, collegium has particularly set on intensification of cooperation between CIS and Eastern European countries and complete the process of officially registering representative office of Bashkortostan Ministry of Foreign Economical Contacts and Trade abroad as a non-profit organization.
16.09.03. - Within The Last 8 Months Bashkir Industry Reveals Positive Dynamics
According to the statistics made for January-August period, Bashkir industry has got stable positive dynamics. Bashkortostan Prime-Minister Rafael Baidavletov has disclosed preliminary data today at the meeting held in the House of Republic. "Industrial output of the large and medium-scale enterprises totaled 124 bln rubles", he said. "While index of actual volume totaled 107.7 per cent". Growth in fuel industry totaled 100.6 per cent, including oil refinery complex - 101.6 per cent. Volume index in ferrous metallurgy totaled 121.2 per cent, while in non-ferrous metallurgy - 101.4 per cent, wood processing and paper production totaled 103.1 per cent, light industry - 103.2 per cent, food industry - 100.9 per cent, medical industry - 121.4 per cent, flour and mixed fodder production output totaled 129.1 per cent, publishing industry - 127 per cent etc. According to the Chief of Bashkortostan government, at the same time indexes has decreased in energy generating output - 0.2 per cent, chemical and petrochemical industry - 0.3 per cent, and glass and china production - 5 per cent.
04.09.03. - Ufa Oil University Ranking High In Russia And Abroad
This year is the 10th anniversary of Ufa Oil University after Ufa Oil Institute was renamed and obtained new status. Not only a bar at the building door was changed in accordance with the new tendencies, but also a new quality of the preparation of young specialists for the fuel and power-engineering complex has been achieved. In general, 2003 is a remarkable year for the University: it celebrates its 55th anniversary and 60th anniversary of the higher gas and oil education in Bashkortostan. President Vladimir Putin visited the University in January 2003 was positively impressed by the University, and his visit turned into great event for the University staff. Indeed, not many high schools in the country have such experienced and competent teaching staff, material basis and developed infrastructure. Besides, teaching staff of the Ufa Oil University is in constant searching and doesn’t halt. In ranking “Technical and technological high schools” made by Russian Ministry for Education, Ufa Oil University takes 14-17th place amongst 160 other state Universities. It is also a member of the International Universities Association and Russia’s Gas and Oil Universities Association. During the time of its operation, Ufa Oil University has prepared over 55 thousands engineers, nearly 2000 candidates and 180 doctors of sciences, 282 specialists for foreign countries with 24 of them defended their thesis for candidate degree. Graduates of the University have been working at all gas and oil regions of Russia, CIS countries and abroad. Many of the University graduates achieved great success in science, works and other fields of activities. Today the University has over 13 thousands students from different regions of Russia and 24 foreign countries, about 800 teachers and nearly 500 post-graduate students. At the University there are doctorate department, institute of the raising of specialists qualification, military department. As a whole about 15 per cent of the specialists of Russian fuel and power engineering complex have been graduated from Ufa Oil University. The University is probably the only in Russia, which prepares oil and gas professionals of the fullest cycle, i.e. specialists in geology, prospecting, mining and extracting gas and oil, their transporting, pipe-lining, oil storing, refining hydrocarbon raw materials and petrochemical products, constructing and managing gas and oil enterprises. There is also a humanitarian specialization in the University - public relations. Scientific and researching works at the University have been done in eight basic directions. Under the Russian Ministry of Education Decree dated March 4, 2002, Ufa Oil University has been defined as a basic high school for the “Energy saving” program, and this year Republic Energy Saving Center has started. At the University there has also been established Interschool Collective Center “Regional scientific and production complex “Nedra” (“Depth of the Earth”). The University has been cooperating with the large gas and oil joint stock companies “Gazprom”, “Lukoil”, “Transneft”, “Transnefteprodukt”, “Bashneft”, “Tatneft”, “Yukos”, “Rosneft”. But the most important with the University is that the Ufa State Technical Oil University graduates are in demand at the production complex, and there is no problem of finding job after graduation from the University. For the last nearly ten years the Principal of the University has been professor Airat Shammazov, who is the President of the Principals Counsel of Bashkortostan and the Deputy of Bashkortostan State Meeting.
