30.10.03. - Forecast Project of Social-Economic Development of Bashkiria on 2004 Is Approved
A project of Decree "About the Forecast of Social-Economic Development of Republic Bashkortostan on 2004 And on the Period to 2006" was performed to the PB deputies of State Assembly - Kurultay - RB on the sixth meeting of the third calling by Chairman of Committee in budget, taxes, finance and questions of property Lev Bakusov. The forecast of social-economic development of the republic is made in two variants taking into account regional and non-regional macroeconomic factors. The first variant made for budget planning becomes from stable but less successful combination of external and internal factors. The second variant is made on more successful conditions. According to the forecast of the first variant, it is planning to achieve the capacity of regional gross revenue (RGR) in sum of 294.5 milliard rubbles, it is on seven per cent more than in 2002. RGR increase prognoses by means of increase (by 2002) commodity manufacture on 6.1 per cent, and also industrial manufacture - on 1.7, of building - on 7.1 per cent. Service producing is planned to increase on 8.1 per cent, including transport - on 9.4, communication - on 38.5, trade and public catering - on 16.6 per cent, non-industrial kinds of consumer sevices - 15.5 per cent. In general, according to the economists’ forecasts, commodity share in the structure of RGR will be 47.8 per cent. Changes in the investment activity are supposed too. Lev Bakusov noticed, it’s planned to give 65.7 milliard rubbles on economical and social sphere development in 2004. It’s on 2.5 per cent more then in 2002. Real money incomes of the population, according to the preliminary estimations, will increase on 16.6 per cent, and due to this the part of the population with the income lower then the minimum living wage will short. In accordance with the plan of state economic sector development on 2004, its share in all the branches of industry will short on four per cent in comparison with this year level and will be 44.3 per cent. In 2004 the volume of the means, headed to the development of social culture everyday living, will be enlarged. It is supposed to build schools with 1459 pupil places, hospitals with 522 beds, policlinics with 925 times of attendance per shift, clubs and culture houses with 1460 places and so on. On the realization of 19 republican purpose programs of social direction in 2004 it’s planned to give 300 million rubbles from the budget. 29.10.03. - Telecommunicative Market of Bashkortostan Is Increasing Stable
Telecommonicative market of Russia in general and of Bashkortostan Republic in particular is characterized by stable increase. The evidence of this is the results of work of OJSC "Bashinformsvjaz" during nine months of the following year. Profit from communication services of this period made 2.1 milliard rubbles. This figure gives great optimism, because during all the 2002 year the users got services on sum 2.2 milliard rubbles - it’s 20 per cent more then in 2001 year. Today OJSC "Bashinformsvjaz" is the main communication operator in the republic, which has powerful high technological basis: ramified telephone network of general use, long distance intercity cable fibre-optical and radio-relay lines of communication, communications hubs, systems of tele- and radio wire. By the end of the year, as the press service OJSC "Bashinformsvjaz" informs, the company will put into operation digital automatic telephone stations with total capacity more then 42 thousand numbers and fibre-optical circle on interzone primary network in south-west of the republic. In the first semi-year the fibre-optical line of communication was built with the total long distance in 150 kilometres. It is supposed to continue development of Internet network with taking into account demands of purposeful program "Electronic Russia". Except this, building of the interactive cable television networks is being held with 15.719 thousand main points of linking up in Ufa. In the number of priority purposes of "Bashinformsvjaz" is change of old ATS, introduction of moderndigital systems of broadcast and communications, building of the newest line-cable establishments. 29.10.03. - Honey Manufacture Has Increased This Year
Understanding importance and significance of agricultural sector governing body of the republic takes purposeful measures upon supporting of agricultural product manufacturer. This way, only this year on the priority ways of agricultural manufacture the measures of state supporting are foreseen. The means from the republican budget in sum of 145 milliard rubbles are directed on development of pedigree business, elite seed-breeding, gardening, horse-breeding, fish-keeping and bee-keeping. And now there are real results. For example, during eight months of the following year honey manufacture has grown in 2.3 times in comparison with the same last year period. Due to the data of Ministry of Bashkortostan Agriculture, beekeepers of the republic have produced 558.8 tons of honey during this period. The best results are achieved by the beekeepers of Iglinskiy, Duvanskiy and Birskiy regions. And the beekeepers of CPK "Iskra" of Yanaulskiy region have got 40 kilograms of goods honey from 95 bee-families. IA "Bashinform".
28.10.03 - Industry of the City Ufa Is Increasing
Today in the great hall of Ufa’s Administration there was a deliberation on the results of work of the city industry last nine months 2003year. A head of City Administration Pavel Kachkaev came out with a report. Vice Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic, Minister of Industry Sergey Efremov, a chairman of Trade-Indusrial Chanber of RB Boris Bondarenko, a manager of department of industry, external connections, trade and coordination of the economics branches of Government Body of the republic Oleg Obuhov, heads of municipal education, managers of industrial enterprises of the city took part in the deliberation. "Indexes of the social-economic situation in the capital of republic during the last nine months of the following year are evidence of the economical increasing in general", Pavel Kachkaev began his report. "Expecting results in many indexes are higher then the prognosed level. Practically in all branches of economics the volumes of goods, products, and services manufacture have increased". Due to the permanent data, from January till September about four milliard rubbles were given to the city’s budget, it made 80 per cent of the year aim. The main branch of economics was and is still being industry, the head of the city administration noticed. Today it takes about hundred thousand of people, it makes the third part from the working people in the real sector. The main sum of received income by the city enterprises - almost 80 per cent - the part of industry. More than 44 per cent of tax payments into consolidated budget of Ufa are received from industrial enterprises. Than the reporter noticed that from the beginning of the year big increase of performance is seen in industry. Production of the goods and services during the nine months almost in a quarter has risen above the level of the same last year period and made 43.8 milliard rubbles with the index of physical volume 108 per cent. Ten from the twelve branches of industry achieved volumes increase. More then the third part of the industrial manufacture is the enterprises of fuel industry, than machine building follows, and the third place takes chemistry and oil-chemistry. The production volumes are achieved due to ways of enterprises’ financial renovation, learning new kinds of products, using of the modern technologies. The financial side of the enterprises became much better. All the branches of industry in general work commercially. About 75 per cent of the enterprises received income, which has increased in comparison with the same last year period more then in two times and made 12 milliard rubbles. On the deliberation Minister of Industry of BR Sergey Efremov came out. He analyzed the results of work of the republican industrial enterprises during nine months of the following year, paying special attention to the dynamically developing branch - machine building. The most actual aims, as Minister said, are reforming of the unprofitable enterprises and paying off the debts in celery. Then came out the managers of the series of city enterprises: OJSC "Steklonit", OJSC "Gornas", FGUP "Ufa’s diesel locomotive fixing plant", OJSC SDI "Soliton". Finishing the deliberation Pavel Kachkaev reminded that the passport reform is at the end and it is necessary to hurry up the citizens who haven changed their passports yet. 27.10.03. - Prime-Minister Has Visited Trade-Industrial Chamber of BR
"The membership in Trade-Industrial Chamber of Bashkortostan have to become en effective form of interest protection", said Prime-Minister of BR Parliament Rafael Davletov on the reporting meeting, devoted to the results most two year work of the chamber. From his words TIC of the republic constructively deals with the state bodies. In June between the BR Government and Trade-Industrial Chamber an according agreement was concluded, where the basic principles were shown. According to this document a chairman of the Chamber is the member of the republic Ministry Boards: of economics, of industry, of external connections and trade. The effectiveness of the Chamber is in its non-state structure, and at the same time has great authorities. As the result its work makes the sales production market of the republic manufacturers expanded. During two last years 270 organizations joined the TI Chamber. Thereby, there are 670 enterprises of all organizational-law forms. However, on Rafael Bajdavletov’s opinion, the attraction of the new members to the Chamber is not so active as it’d like to be. "It is necessary to involve into TIC of the republic all the industrial enterprises, organizations and also small business", he said. The same opinion has Alexander Rybakov - a headmaster of RF Tic Department in work with territorial chambers. " Small business should take the great place in Trade-Industrial Chamber of the republic and also in TIC of Russia", he noticed. At present time the branch structure of TIC members can be shown in such way: the part of the commerce and service sphere makes 40 per cent of all the enterprises-participants of the Chamber, the part of industry and building makes 38 per cent. From 178 organizations, joined last year and half, 101 are the subjects of small undertaking. Minister of Bashkortostan eternal connections and trade Boris Kolbin, who has also taken part it the reporting meeting, noticed the importance of TIC of the republic in the organization of exhibition activity and business visits to the different regions of Russia and abroad. From his words, during business trips abroad the republic too many agreements on intentions are signed. However, unfortunately, nobody can say exactly how many of them are running. The work should be organized in this direction. One more moment mentioned by Boris Kolbin, deals with investments involving. "Taken investigation has shown a high investment level of republic. But we little inform our potential investors. Too many foreign delegations come to us - we are able to inform them about our plans and possibilities". Boris Kolbin considers that Trade-Industrial Chamber could play the great role in this process, as the enterprises change the plans without interest. 24.10.03 - Bashkortostan: Industrial Manufacture Is Still Increasing
Due to the last statistics data economics of the republic increases more or less stable. About this a correspondent of the agency "Bashinform" was informed in the Committee of state statistics of BR. During the last nine months increase of the industrial manufacture is still staying. In September the enterprises of Bashkortostan manufactured products with the total sum of 16.1 milliard rubbles - it’s three per cent higher than it was in September 2002. From January to September manufacture volumes have increased in comparison with the same last year period of time, up to 7.5 per cent and made 140.5 milliard rubbles in money equivalent. Such results were achieved due to the enterprises of metallurgy, machine building, oil processing, wooden, woodworking and pulp-paper, light, food, flour mill-corn and mixed fodder, medical, polygraphy and building materials industries. The total volume of the residence building in the republic during this period has risen more than six per cent in comparison with the same level of 2002. Individual residence building is being held in rising temp. By means of the population credits living houses are given to the exploitation with the total space 575.7 thousand square metres, - it’s 9.3 per cent higher than the same last year period. About 40 milliard rubbles or 100.5 per cent in comparison with nine months level 2002, made the total volume of agriculture products of republic manufacturers. At the moment the demand market of Bashkortostan can be characterized as saturated and stable. From January to September sales circuit became higher than the last year level on 12.7 per cent and made 73.6 milliard rubbles. Free index of demand prices in September was 100 per cent, but from the beginning of the year it has risen more than eight per cent. It should be mentioned, last year this increase was defined with the figure 9.7 per cent. Food products price index (including alcoholic drinks) was 103.2 per cent by the end of October, non-food goods - 104.7 per cent, fee service to the population - 128 per cent. By the decision of International Committee Governing of human rights protection, The President of Bashkortostan Republic Sir Rahimov Murtaza Gubbajdulovich for services to International Society and his personal contribution in business of human rights and consolidation of international affairs, is awarded to the highest level of Committee awards: GOLDEN STAR "HONOUR AND DIGNITY". Rewarding is timed to the 54-th anniversary of proclamation and adopting "Universal Declaration of Human Rights".
23.10.03 - Bashkiria Will Take Part in European Union Programs
The negotiations were held in Moscow between the Vice-Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Government - Minister of BR Industry Sergey Efremov and Vice Head of the Government of European Committee in Russian Federation Vincent Piket. On the meeting the questions about the participation of the republic in series of European Union Programs. As the correspondent of "Basinform" agency in Ministry of Industry press-service of BR was informed, during the meeting some definite arrangements were achieved. By the way, nearest time in Bashkortostan realization of the project in elaboration of strategy on development of some branches of industry will start. 23.10.03 - Banking System of Bashkiria Is Stable And Profitable
Today there was a press conference of a chairman of National BR Bank Rustem Mardanov in the agency "Bashinform". He acquainted journalists with running realization of the Program of banking system development in Bashkortostan and answered their interested in questions. Adopted in September 2001, the program was planned and elaborated as anticrisis program. Its purpose is overcoming negative consequences of financial-economical problems of 1998, restoration of stable banking system and creation of conditions for its effective development. At the moment, from Rustem Mardanov’s words, due to the arrangements of this program a kernel of effectively working credit organizations has formed in the republic. Now the banking system is running enough stable and brings perceptible profit. And, as a result, believes to it of the population and creditors has returned. To prove self-words the chairman of National Bank of BR gave some figures. So, by October 2003 the capital volume of the banking system has risen in comparison with the pre-crisis level in the real expression in one and half times, total assets - in 2.3 times, credit investments in economics of the republic - in 3.5 times, investments from population - in two times. On 1 October of the following year on the territory of Bashkortostan 19 credit organizations were running, including 13 local banks. Except that, three representatives of other regional banks work. During the last nine months our banks have opened four their branches abroad the republic. Now the total volume of the rest credit investments of the banks into real economical sector, in comparison with the same last year period, has increased up to 63 per cent and achieved 51.6 milliard rubbles. The population investments have increased on 33 per cent and made 26 milliard rubbles. Rustem Mardanov noticed that one of the positive peculiarities of the last years is strength of the regional banks’ branches and representatives on the territory of republic and network forming of structural departments of the local banks. Now in the republic the necessary prerequisites for good competition on market of the bank services were created, where earlier traditionally establishments of Sberbank were prevailing. On the press conference it was also noticed that due to the program National Bank of BR collaboration with credit organizations became more productive. That’s why enough favourable conditions for banking system running were created in the scope of realization of the programs of social-economic development of republic. 21.10.03 - International Exhibition "Uralenergo-2003" started working
Today in Ufa an International Specialized Exhibition "Uralenergo-2003" has opened, which is one of the most representative in Russia. It have been holding since 1995 by the permanent support of Ministry of Economics of Russian Federation, JSC "Bashkirenergo" and Representative ÐÀÎ "EEC Russia" on management of joint stock companies in Ural region of Russia "URALENERGO". In the ceremony of opening a deputy prime-minister of Parliament - Minister of Industry of Bashkortostan Sergey Efremov, Manager of Regional Energetic Commission Midhat Shakirov, general director of joint stock company "Bashkirenergo" Nikolay Kurapov, a chairman of Trade-Industrial Chamber of BR Boris Bondarenko took part. From the name of Bashkortostan Parliament Sergey Efremov greeted the guests of the Exhibition. He noticed that the arrangement and tomorrow opening energetic forum are called upon the demonstration of best domestic and foreign achievements in the field of energetic, to generalize practical experience in involving of energetically effective projects, high technologies and alternative energy sources in conditions of economical reforming in the country. Bashkortostan is not accidentally a place of holding such great arrangements. The Republic is the owner of the idea of nontraditional and small energy using. It has high scientific, industrial and manufacture potential. The conformation of this is performed exhibits at the Exhibition. The enterprises of the Fuel-Energetic Complex of our region produce 70 per cent of all our products of industry, supply about 60 per cent of tax income to the budget. Sergey Efremov considers that the live communication of new technique creators and makers with direct users will open new possibilities to collaborate and set up business contacts, will be the powerful stimulus for the further development. Vice-manager of scientific-technical progress department of Minenergo BR Valeriy Kotov read a greet letter of Minister of energy in Russia Igor Usufov, where the great role of the Exhibition "Uralenergo" and Energetic Forum is also noticed. Having cut a red ribbon, official persons viewed stands of the participants. Totally 150 enterprises were performed at the Exhibition, including 20 ones from Bashkortostan. The achievements are shown by the enterprises from Germany, Chech, Armenia and thirty regions of Russia. Tomorrow an opening and plenary meeting of III Russian Energetic Forum will took place. In its program there is a series of seminars and conferences on the most actual topics for the energy system of the country. On October 23 the winners of the exhibiting competition of the best models, technologies and equipment will be announced.
16.10.03. - Bashkortostan is preparing to Russian joining ICO
The necessity of Russia to join International Commerce Organization is understood for a long time. The negotiations have being held since 1993, when Russia placed an order on joining countries-participants of ICO. Economics of any country cannot develop without competition, which there is on the world market. Home-produced goods have to correspond with international rules of quality. Russian joining ICO will allow to open external markets for our goods. Russian joining International Commerce organization is also advantageous to the countries-leaders in international economics: new sale markets for products will appear including area in Russia and countries of UIS. The potential of solvent demand in our country is rising, but the products of many Russian enterprises are still uncompetitive according to the index "price-quality".
Republic of Bashkortostan, like one of the powerful Russian regions exporting oil and oil products, products of chemical, machine-building industries and agriculture, is interested in possible consequences of Russia to join International Organization. A chief of department of external economic relations of Ufa’s administration Ruslan Mirsajapov considers that our country’s joining ICO is very serious arrangement, an important step. City’s administration recognizes the importance of this problem, in the country scope it is unavoidable and necessary occurrence. But due to this it’s necessary to help our enterprises to prepare well with country’s joining ICO. According to this a commission on coordination of preparation of Ufa’s enterprises to work with conditions of joining Russia to ICO.
OJSC "UMPO" - Rafik Agzamov, "At present time we have been really working in ICO conditions. More than 90 per cent of our products are exported to many countries in the world. Specific features of our products are their scientific capacious. The manufacture of aviaengines is specific; that is why there are few firms in the world, which can produce them. To my mind joining ICO is necessary for Russia, because we have to take a proper place on the world market, and scientific and technical potential of Russia let do it. "
16.10.03. - Bashkortostan: On the Way of Stable Development
In accordance with Chart of stable European cities development, adopted in May 1994 by the participants of the First European Conference in problem of stable development of big and small cities, the purpose of the stable development is achievement of stable economics, social fairness and increasing environmental quality. Stable, steady development is impossible without increase of effectiveness social manufacture, increase of society life style, which is too much uneasy due to the known source shortage, inflation, high wear and tear level of industrial funds. Real support in increase level of social-economic development of Bashkortostan should be own regional potential. Priority directions of regional development and the ways of their effective realization are fastened in programs, designed and feasible by the state power organs of Republic. In August 2002 a federal purpose Program "Social-Economic Development of Bashkortostan Republic up to 2006" was adopted by Russian Parliament. This program provides for implementation of 79 investment projects and 53 complex arrangements in all the directions of social-economic development of republic. The total credit volume for Program realization will be 172.1 milliard rubbles. In the scope of implementing in Bashkortostan Federal Purpose Program "Energetic Effective Economics 2002-2005 with Perspective up to 2010" in July this year the Parliament of Republic adopted a Complex Program of Bashkortostan Republic "Save of Energy 2003-2006". By Decree of Bashkortostan Republic President from 4 July 2000 a mid-term program of structural reconstruction of economics of Bashkortostan Republic was adopted, Program of investment draw increase of Bashkortostan Republic was adopted and being realized.
10.10.03. - Achievements of Bashkir Industry on the Eve of the Day of Republic
Almost on 23 per sent of physical volume has increased in the period of nine months this year in comparison with the same period of 2002 year in machine building in Bashkortostan. All the main sectors of industry have been dynamically developed volumes of manufacture. The increase was supplied by the enterprises of machine building and metal processing, black, colour metallurgy, medical industry. The enterprises of fuel-energetic complex showed stable work. Success of the communication workers impresses. The Republic was one of the first where fibre-optical kind of communication has appeared. Network of satellite communications has been launched. Since autumn 2002 a program "Bashkir satellite TV " has been on. Machine building and metal processing develop most intensively. During last four years the volume of industrial manufacture has increased almost in three times. This index of the running year shows that the machine builders of Bashkortostan excel All-Russian level in three times. New kinds of the products have been successfully adapting in this sphere. Thus an aviaengine of the fifth generation is being designed, gas-over pumping stations are being manufactured on UMPO. UZEMIK has launched the second line of complete stuff manufacturing for window-frame blocks. FGUP "KumAPP" is testing a helicopter of the new series "Ka-226.50". Concern "Inmash" in joint with Sterlitamak machine-tool plant, Ishimbajsk plant of transport machine-building "Vitjaz" and Srerlitamak machine-plant have launched experienced manufacture of driving-wheels, bridges for combine harvesters of type "Don". On JSC "NefAZ" an experienced standard model of tourist bus was made, which is as comfortable as the foreign ones. Active innovative work is being also provided by enterprise "Gidravlika", UPPO, Ufa Electro-lamp plant "Svet", JSK "OZNA". Neftekam machine plant has taken the second place in bus manufacturing, and the trolley bus of the local machine-builders can be seen on the roads of 30 cities in Russia and UIC. In manufacturing of the last ones Bashkortostan surely takes the second place in the country. Progressive tendencies are being observed in the fuel-energetic complex. On OJSC "Soda" a complex program on recycling waste products into building materials is being realozed. It will help to enlarge industrial capacities up to 1280 thousand ton per year, to bring down expenditure of fuel in 2.2 times, in 1.5 times - of electric energy, to short dust throw out into the atmosphere on 9.9 thousand ton per year. JSC "Salavatnefteorgsintez" launches new manufacture of ethylbenzoltyrol, which will be controlled by means of computer system. The achievements of the manufacturers of republic are known all over the world. On the international exhibition tourist "NefAZ" got a diploma of I degree, and on V International Exhibition "Machine-building - 2003" representatives of more than 300 organizations from Russia and many foreign countries were interested in products of Sterlitamak machine-tool building plant. Contribution of small business into development of industry is growing. In 2002 total volume of produced services and products by small enterprises was about 25 milliard rubbles, this index on 21.3 per sent is higher than the index of the same last year period. In 15 cities and regions of republic 21 manufacture-technological centres of subjects of small business undertakings have been created and are functioning. Bashkortostan is considered to be one of the biggest industrial and on export oriented regions of Russia. External commerce circuit of republic in 2002 was higher than 2.6 milliard dollars. Export volume of manufactured products is higher than 40 per cent. The main exporter in machine building is JSC "UMPO", which supplies with aviaengines. Joined 18 Russian enterprises got a title of "Best exporter" in nomination "Machine Building". During several years active external work is being provided by such enterprises as "KumAPP", "NefAZ", "Salavatgidromash", JSC"OZNA" and others. The products of joint enterprises with foreign capital "BETO-Huaway", "JO-Geo Impulse International" appear on foreign market. Republican Law and Conception about Industrial Policy determine the main ways and measures of state support of industrial enterprises and stimulation of their development. The help is shown in aim budget crediting of high-effective investment projects. 75 million rubbles from regional budget have been directed on new helicopter creation, 10 million rubbles on creation, 2 on organization of producing of bridges for combine harvesters "Don". Also due to the budget means a line of rubber compressions manufacturing was purchased, is developing production of machining centres, hot and cold water electric meters, vacuum turners-off. Capital investments are being head to the building of OJSC "Polief" - only one complex in Russia of terephtal acid and polyethylene-terephtalat manufacture, organization of modified tables producing on joint Russian-Chinese enterprise OJSC "Ufa-Shenjan MDF". In Republic Federal Aim Program "Social-Economic Development of Bashkortostan Republic up to 2006" is successfully running. This year budget means are given on financing a workshop building on Amzin group of saw enterprises, on development of telephone communication means in rural area etc.
7.10.03. - The Exhibition "Chemistry, Ecology, Waste Products - 2003" has opened in Ufa
Today in Ufa has started the IX Specialized Exhibition "Chemistry, Ecology, Waste Products - 2003". Among its organizators there are Ministry of RB Industry, Trade-Industrial Chamber of Republic, Society of Ecologists of Bashkortostan, GUP "Institute of Oil-Chemical Processing", Commercial Innovative Centre "Ligas" and others. Bashkortostan takes the first place among the regions in Russia in processing volumes of oil. Each seventh ton of Russian oil is processed by the republican enterprises; that’s why the ecological problems are urgent for Bashkortostan. In the Program of Oil-Chemistry Branch Development not the least of the places takes modernization of running manufactures. An of course, the important notice pays on the aspects of nature protection. Thereby, the first day of the opened exhibition and organized on its scope "round table" passed with the motto of ecological safety. On the ceremony of expo. opening the head master of GUP "Institute of Oil-Chemical Processing" Elshad Teliashev, a chairman of Society of Ecologists of Bashkortostan Republic Alexander Veselov and a chief manager of "Ligas" Viktor Petrov took part. "Of course, the exhibitions as they are cannot solve the ecological problems due to the running Oil-Chemical Complex of Republic, but its profit of such arrangements is unquestionable. They allow to find new achievements of our colleges, to change the information, and also to perform new designs of Republican Institutes", announced Elshad Teliashev. He noticed that Russian technological plants on purifying water and elimination of emergency oil overflow began to appear on the global market. At the exhibition enterprises and firms not only from Bashkortostan, but also from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Dzerzhinsk, Perm, Ekaterinbourg and other Russian cities perform their products and services. The organizators hope these four days will be maximum profitable for all the participants. Tomorrow on the scope of exhibition Scientific-Practical Conference "Ecological Technologies in Oil Processing and Oil-Chemistry" will be held.
7.10.03. - Bank "UralSib" And European Bank Credit Small Business Jointly
On 8 October at 3 p.m. in Ufa the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development’s Fund of Small Business Support (EBRD/FSBS) and OJC "UralSib" will perform a joint Crediting Program of small business. Managers of small enterprises of Republic and business owners, representatives of Fund of Small Business Support of RB, of Undertaking Organizations Association of RB, social organizations, connected with small business support, governing body of Bank"UralSib" will take part in this Program. An empowered EBRD/FSBS representative of Bashkortostan Mr Gernot Kulish is to perform the Program. A pilot project of the Program was launched in Ufa month and a half ago. This project was under great interest even without lightning in mass media. During a short period of time more than 50 credit loans (with total amount 8,3mln rubbles) were given for Ufa’s small business and undertaking development. The advantage of the Program for small business owners is a minimum term of consideration of credit appliances, accessible credit rate, absence of demanded pay-account in a bank, bank’s flexible approach to the granted loans. The credits can be taken on such conditions: credit amount - five thousand to three million rubbles, term - up two years, interest rate and other credit conditions are being calculated in the way for debtor to pay without any damage for his business and family. Nowadays the Program is running in "UralSib’s" branches - "Customer Service Centre" (9, Krupskaja St.) and "Boulevard of Glory" (119, Oktjabr avenue). Within the nearest time the Program will start running also in other Bank’s branches and other cities in Republic.
7.10.03. - The Level of Unemployment in Bashkiria Is Falling Down
This year situation at Bashkortostan human resource market is being characterized with positive dynamics. The Prime minister of RB Parliament Rafael Bajdavletov said it on the regular selective meeting in the House of Republic. "The amount of unemployed citizens, who are in the lists of employment centres in Bashkortostan, has decreased on 21 per cent and made 27 thousand persons. And the amount of vacancies, given to the employment centres by enterprises, makes 14,7 thousand on the date of September 20," noticed the head of the republican Parliament. The most decrease of unemployment has happened in Agidel, Beloretsk, Meleuz, and also in Buzdjakskiy, Kushnarenkovskiy, Kujurgazinskiy and Ufimskiy regions. Thereby, in general the level of unemployment in Republic had decreased from 1,77 per cent to 1,39 per cent. It should be mentioned that the employment index of able-bodied population is one of the most important parameters of social-economic development. Positive tendencies that appeared on the human resource market are indirect illustration of steady regional economics functioning.
6.10.03. - "Bashkirenergo" Is On the New Stage of Reforming
This year on 1 October a new stage of reforming in power system of Bashkortostan has begun. As the press-service JSC "Bashkirenergo" reports it applies to the power sales work. According to the order of Nikolay Kurapov - enterprise’s general manager, one of the branches of Joint Stock Company "Energosbyt" has stopped its work. And now the Power Sales Company of Bashkortostan will manage this field of work. Recently a meeting of leaders from JSC, ESKB and regional power commission was held in "Bashkirenergo". The representatives of these structures are sure that the changes in the field will be useful for power system of Republic in general.
1.10.03. - Trade-Industrial Chambers of Bashkiria and Belarus Will Sign an Agreement on Collaboration
The delegation of business sphere of Belarus with the chief of Trade-Industrial Chamber (TIC) Vladimir Bobrov has arrived to Bashkiria with three-day visit. Mainly, the purpose of the visit is signing an agreement between TIC of Belarus and TIC of Bashkiria. Belarus delegation consisted of 9 leaders from industrial enterprises. Among them there is an instrument-making company "Sviatovit", a manufacturer of road-building techniques CJSC "Prommedinvest", an enterprise of medical techniques "Vitjaz", and also Brest group of stocking enterprises, jersey firms "Zlatovest" and "Belfa" and others. On the day of arriving Minister of external economic links and commerce (MEELC) of Bashkiria Boris Kolbin met the leaders of business sphere of Belarus. Today a performance of product manufacturers of light and textile industry of Belarus is to be held in MEELC. On Thursday the business delegation is to start with a visit to Sterlitamak - the second city of Bashkiria by growth, where it will visit the biggest in republic oil-chemical enterprise "Kaustic", and also machine-tool plant of Sterlitamak and group of beer nonalcoholic drinks enterprises "Shihan". On 3 October TIC leaders of Belarus and Bashkiria will sign the agreement on collaboration. Plans of new joint enterprises establishment and development of collaboration in all the fields of economics will be represented in the document. We would remind that the agreement on collaboration between the Governments of Bashkiria and Belarus was signed in July 1999. At present time more than 30 joint Bashkir-Belarus enterprises are running. The volume of external trade turnover between the republics was 79mln dollars. "Rosbalt"
